- On day 16 this kitchen opens for anyone who signed.
- Nobody cooks who did not.
- You read it, you change what can be changed, you sign it. So do I.

Read it in parts
- Eight sections. One per table.
- Read your section aloud, one student per line.
- After each section, someone from a different table says it in their own words.
- Underline any line you do not understand or do not agree with.

The allergy line, for real

- Anything you cannot eat: tell me before the first lab, privately if you want. The lab will have a version you can eat.

Two sections are not up for a vote
- Section 1, safety. Section 6, food and allergies.
- Everything else, we wrote together, and you can change it today.
- Why those two: they are the two things that can send someone to the hospital.
Compare and rewrite
- Look at the team norms chart from yesterday.
- One norm the agreement already covers. One it does not.
- Pick one line your table would change: clearer, stricter, or fairer.
- Frame: Change "___" to "___" because ___.

Vote
- Each table reads its rewrite.
- Hands up to add it.
- The ones that pass go in section 9, "Rules we added," on every copy.

If a rewrite loosens section 1 or 6, let it go to the vote, then explain why those two are fixed.
Sign
- Your signature means: I read it, I helped write part of it, I will keep it.
- I sign it too. It binds me.
- The family line is optional. It lets someone at home see how this room runs.
- Sign both copies. One in the tray, one goes home.

The pre-test
- This is not graded.
- It tells me what Unit 1 can skip.
- Write what you think. A blank tells me nothing. A wrong guess tells me a lot.
