- A "Meets" pitch: five parts in order, starting with the client and the need, every teammate speaking, the client's question answered with a number or a feature from the plan, the sheet, or the model, in sixty seconds.
- Client questions to hand the "client" if they cannot think of one: Card 1, "Where does my walker go at night?" Card 2, "What stops Luz's toys from ending up on my desk?" Card 3, "Can the door open all the way with the bench there?" Card 4, "Where do I put the baby down while I get the wipes?" Card 5, "Where does the ladder go when we are not using it?" Card 6, "Can I reach the closet rod?"
- A good feedback slip, read aloud before the walk: "Star 1: the 36-inch path from the door to the bed passes; I can see it in the plan. Star 2: the night light on that path; I can see it in the model. Step: the lamp switch is on the wall by the door, and the card says he needs to turn it on from the bed."
- A bad slip, read aloud: "Star 1: cool. Star 2: nice colors. Step: add more stuff." Then the rule: a feature and a client.
