This game reviews Lesson 1.1, Hunt the Hazard: the six hazard families (burns, cuts, falls, fire, electrical, food contamination), what could happen, and the one action that prevents it. Use it as the do now before Lesson 1.2, as the review before the Kitchen Safety Exam in Lesson 1.4, or on the board with the class calling out taps. The 8 hazard setting is the grade 6 support from the lesson; 12 is the full hunt. Nothing is saved when the page closes.
Hazard Hunt
There are hazards planted in this kitchen. Tap each one before the clock runs out. Look, do not touch: a tap on something safe costs you 3 seconds.
Swipe the kitchen sideways to see all of it.
How to play
Tap every hazard you can find. Each one is worth 10 points. A tap on something safe costs 3 seconds. Find them all and the seconds you have left are added to your score. Then Round 2: sort what you found into the six hazard families.
Round 2: name the family
You have 30 seconds. For each hazard you found, tap its family. 5 points each.
