| Total cost for four | $______ | $34.80 |
| Cost per person (total divided by 4) | $______ | $8.70 |
| One nutrition claim we can prove | | Four MyPlate groups on one plate: protein (chicken and beans), grains (tortillas), vegetables (corn), fruit (apples) |
| The proof (which item, which number) | | Beans: 7 g protein per half cup on the label; corn: 12 oz bag makes four half-cup servings |
| Why this family would like it (use the card) | | The twins can shred the chicken and fill the tortillas before 6:00 with no stove; no pork anywhere on the plate |
| Allergens in the tasting item (circle) | wheat, dairy, egg, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, sesame, none | wheat, dairy |

Sentence starters (Turkish, Portuguese, and Spanish versions are on the project sheet):
- Our dinner costs ____________ for four, which is ____________ per person.
- Our plate has ____________ groups: ____________.
- This family would like it because ____________.

## Part 2: The pitch planner (60 seconds, every teammate speaks)

Order the lines however you want. Each line is one speaker. A jingle can replace any line as long as the number in it is true.

| # | Line | Who says it | Written out |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Our family is ___. (Say who they are and one rule.) | | |
| 2 | Our dinner costs ___ for four, which is ___ per person. | | |
| 3 | On the plate: ___ groups, which are ___. | | |
| 4 | This family would like it because ___. (Use the card.) | | |
| 5 | Choose our dinner because ___. (One reason, one sentence.) | | |
| 6 | Optional: the swap we made and what it saved. | | |
| 7 | Optional: the jingle. | | |

Rehearse once at the station. Time it. If it runs over 60 seconds, cut words, not numbers.

Product choice: [ ] spoken [ ] sung [ ] a recorded 60-second video [ ] read from a script [ ] a drawn menu poster explained by a teammate

## Part 3: Gallery walk notes (fill as you walk)

| Station | Their family | Their cost per person | One kind and true thing we said | Did the card prove the claim? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| | | | | |
| | | | | |

## Teacher key

A complete menu card has every row filled; the cost per person equals the total divided by four; the claim names a group, an item, and a number; the "why" sentence uses a rule or a person from the family card; the allergen row is circled. A complete pitch planner has a name on every required line and a total time written after the rehearsal. The vote slip needs a reason to count.
