# Calendar 02: Me, My Goals, My Money

Unit 2, Individual Growth and Life Readiness. 30 periods of 40 minutes, days 36 to 65 of the year: the last 10 days of marking period 1 and the first 20 of marking period 2. Six teaching weeks of five meetings each. One cell per period: the lesson code and title, then what happens that day. CHECK marks a formal assessment, PROJECT marks a project day, TRADE marks a period with a ClassroomStreet trading window and names the windows it advances (the lessons number the graded run 1 to 40; Round 2 runs windows 41 to 60 in three blocks).

This calendar is written in day numbers and teaching weeks, not dates. The columns are the five meetings of each teaching week; a holiday pushes every later day back one meeting. Map the day numbers onto your school's calendar; the day numbers and the order do not change.

## Counts

- Lessons: 22 (2.1 to 2.22). Two-day lessons: 2.2, 2.3, 2.5, 2.9, 2.14, 2.15, 2.17, 2.19.
- CHECK days: 5 (days 40, 43, 52, 62, 65). The All About Me one-pager (day 40) and the Goal Plan (day 43) are scored on mini rubrics inside their lessons. The Money Basics Quiz (day 52) closes Topic 2.3 the period before ClassroomStreet opens, so the quiz is the ticket onto the trading floor. The project (day 62) is scored on Rubric 02. The unit test (day 65, 15 minutes, 20 items) closes the unit.
- PROJECT days: 10 (days 53 to 62).
- TRADE days: 11. Days 53 to 60 carry the graded run, windows 1 to 40, inside each lesson's timed procedure (the window blocks get longer as the run goes on: two windows on day 53, eight on day 60). The market is frozen at window 40 from the end of day 60 through the closing bell on day 61. Days 63 to 65 carry Round 2, windows 41 to 60 in three 10-minute blocks at the start of each period, on the same board after the reveal, as Project 02 lays it out; Round 2 counts as daily work (the three short journal lines) and participation, not toward Rubric 02.
- Topic day counts: 2.1 five (days 36 to 40), 2.2 four (days 41 to 44), 2.3 eight (days 45 to 52), 2.4 ten (days 53 to 62), 2.5 three (days 63 to 65). Total 30.
- Marking period: days 36 to 45 are MP1; days 46 to 65 are MP2.

## If a day is lost

A snow day or an assembly pushes everything one cell to the right. Drop days in this order to get back on schedule: 2.6 (fold the 168-hour grid into 2.5 Day 2 as homework), then 2.16 (fold diversification into 2.15 Day 2 as the do now and one journal prompt, and advance windows 19 to 24 there), then 2.2 Day 2, then 2.15 Day 2 (advance windows 13 to 18 in 2.16). Never drop 2.9 or 2.11. If a day is lost inside the ClassroomStreet run, the market keeps its window count because it is on manual advance: the crisis still lands at window 25, everything slides one day, and the last Round 2 block is dropped instead. Do not shorten the graded run to fewer than 40 windows, because the return math, the crisis grid, and the three ledger paths all depend on that history. If the loss lands on day 65, the unit test moves to the first day of Unit 3 and the career research card is collected as homework.
